The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority is committed to achieving a six fold increase in revenues within the next 10-years. The SLTDA’s goal is to grow and achieve Tourism revenues from total annual tourism revenues of Rs.42,585 million in 2006 to Rs.327 million in 2016.

By aggressively seizing opportunities and leverage Sri Lanka’s competitive advantages, the SLTDA will strive to adopt a visitor/tourist centric approach and adapt best global practices from other leading tourism jurisdictions. It will build a more diverse product range and grow traditional markets and open up new markets, thus making Sri Lanka more accessible. Moreover, the SLTDA will utilize effective partnerships with clear accountabilities and deliverables.
