The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority is committed to providing adequate legal and financial advice. Our legal staffs are able to;
- Provide legal advice on matters relating to the Tourism Act, Ordinances and other legislation.
- Examine proposed drafts of new laws or amendments to exiting laws.
- Prepare legal agreements and other similar documentation and cause to have them finalized
- Advise Chairman, Board of Directors and Director General and other officers on legal matters as and when required.
- Represent the SLTDA in Courts of Law, Labour Tribunals and other similar legal forums.
- Coordinate with the Department of Legal Draftsman and the Attorney General’s Department.
- Compilation of deeds and other legal documents
- Maintain flies and documents with regard to court cases.
